Bambusa dolichomerithalla

Tight vertical clumper with very little bottom branching thus showing off its multi-colored culms from light greenish yellow to dark green with stripes of varying shades of green, very dramatic in the landscape. It’s perfect for a privacy hedge and windbreak and reaches a height of approximately 30’ with a 2 inch culm. It has good wind tolerance.  Clumping bamboos can be planted without fear of them spreading beyond their assigned territory, making them non-invasive.
