Lytocaryum weddellianum

An absolutely gorgeous smaller palm, appropriately dubbed, the Miniature Coconut, due to its resemblance to the common coconut, both in its diminutive feather leaves and smallish coconut like fruit.  The roughly 1 inch round seeds of these are actually edible, and do taste much like the white meat of a coconut.  A wonderful plant to grow either indoors or outdoors and is excellent as a potted plant.
