Malay Dwarf

~ Malay Dwarf

Glaucophylla

This is a very dense bamboo used for privacy hedging, for windbreaks and as an ornamental landscape focal point. Variegated leaves give a lighter green appearance. It reaches a mature height of 12-15′ tall with 1 inch culms and can be pruned to be a lower hedge.  Clumping bamboos can be planted without fear of them spreading beyond their assigned territory, making them non-invasive.

Height: 12-15 ft.

Sun Exposure: Sun to Partial Shade
