Azalea

Azaleas are generally slow-growing and do best in well-drained acidic soil (4.5 - 6.0 pH). Preferring cooler weather, the Azalea bloom in the Winter and Spring months in Hawaii. They'll have a longer bloom season if they are at a higher elevation.
