Blue Ginger

Dichorisandra thyrsiflora or Blue Ginger as it is commonly known is a plant with a vibrant purple so colorful neither of my camera will register it correctly. Besides not being a true blue it also is not a ginger but I'm sure once you view this spectacular flower for yourself you will forgive the misnomer. Blooming only in the fall this striking plant is a must have for a shady garden location.
